Appearance

Shunpo is a lean, spindly machine whose head is bound like a mummy in wrapped bands, with several cable-like tendrils sprouting from the crown and a pair of tubular lenses jutting forward like goggles. A central seam and riveted panels run down its torso, which narrows to a slim, ringed waist. Rounded pauldrons cap ribbed upper arms that lead into bracer-wrapped forearms and cuffed wrists.

Abilities

Standing as a Dragon-level menace and a Machine God unit of The Organization, Shunpo ranks as highly powerful. It boasted of being the quickest robot in the Machine God series, capable of fighting at speeds of at least Mach 3, yet it could not keep pace with Speed-o'-Sound Sonic, who outran and destroyed it with ease. Its combat style centered on close-quarters swordplay, wielding a katana with a fair degree of skill. When it approached Sonic and demanded a duel during the robot uprising, the ninja overpowered and wrecked it in a short clash. Notably, it stands as the first Dragon-level threat that Sonic brought down entirely on his own in the original webcomic.
