The Triple Tongues, rendered as Tri-Tongues in the Viz release, are a Tiger-level pack of Mysterious Beings. Deceptively human on the surface, they overwhelm foes with a barrage of tongues before meeting a swift end at Saitama's fist.
At a glance the Triple Tongues pass for ordinary people. What sets each of them apart are the three long tongues sprouting from their mouths, backed by rows of sharp teeth.
Almost nothing has been established about what drives them as individuals. In battle they behave as a coordinated swarm, leaning on reach and numbers rather than any distinct character.
The group first turns up locked in combat with Crescent Eyebroll, who cannot land a meaningful hit because their count and striking range keep him at bay. As he looks to fall back and hold out for reinforcements, Ryumon and his gang arrive to bail him out. Before the gang can settle matters, Saitama happens to stroll past and knocks the monsters' heads clean off, wiping them out in an instant.
As a Tiger-rated threat, the pack was reckoned a fairly formidable one, strong enough to press the A-Class hero Crescent Eyebroll, who judged them more dangerous than their disaster level let on. They fight almost entirely with their tongues, using them to strike, stab, and seize opponents from a safe distance, yet they falter up close, going down quickly once the Ryumon Gang closed the gap on them.
