Mechanics
In the manga, Sailor V hurls her compact at an enemy as though it were a boomerang. Small as the disk is, its magic lets it slice foes and inflict far more harm than its size would suggest. Crystal swaps the compact for a dedicated item named the Crescent Boomerang, which she throws instead. The live-action series stages a comparable move using her Crescent Moon Cutter, though that version goes unnamed.

Sailor Venus is the technique's owner. In the Sailor V one-shot she throws it at Pandora, and in a later volume she uses it to destroy Twin Dark, returning to it repeatedly across that series.
