Appearance

Cutie Kenko presents as a young man whose obsidian-dark eyes sit beneath a fringe bleached pale grey at the front, the darker black kept behind. His wardrobe runs to a long-sleeved tuxedo paired with leather that hangs from the waist down along his legs. A compact blade rides on the left of his belt, and he is never without an unusually tall red rose, a bloom he can hurl to unleash a blinding flash.

Personality

Theatrical and quick to bruise, Kenko treats robbery as performance, drawing on tricks borrowed from stage magicians. He takes insult personally, resolving to punish the young heroines the moment they declare themselves allies of Sailor V, and he flies into open fury when Usagi robs him of the key he needs. His signature reliance on roses echoes the trademark of Tuxedo Mask, a resemblance made ironic by the fact that this live-action continuity is one where the caped hero fights without them.

History

Operating from a hideout tucked among the city streets, Kenko rallies his minions and lays plans to raid a jewelry store after dark in the Azabu-Juban district. The break-in draws out three masked defenders, Sailor N, Sailor K, and Sailor M, in truth the shop owner's daughter and her friends acting as allies of Sailor V. When he lashes out at them with a sticky binding strand, Sailor Rabbit intervenes, though her own counterattack falls flat and he orders the intruders seized. He presses Sailor N for the whereabouts of the shop's most valuable pieces, stored inside a locker, but as he moves to open it Usagi grabs the key and gulps it down, enraging him.

Forced to fall back, he drags Usagi to his lair and seals her in a box, then readies a blade to cut her in two and recover the swallowed key. Sailor V's Crescent Moon Cutter halts the strike, and once Sailor Rabbit is freed the pair dismantle his minions. In desperation he flings his rose to blind Sailor V, then makes a final lunge with a concealed dagger that she kicks from his hand. The police, tipped off by the three disguised girls, close in before he can do more, and Kenko and his crew are taken into custody.
