The one hundred first chapter keeps the raid's battles raging, as Shinohara reveals his Arata armor against a rapidly evolving Kaneki and Akira Mado turns the tide on Naki.
Kaneki throws himself at the investigators as they ready their quinques, but Yukinori Shinohara deploys his Arata and turns the strike aside. Guessing that Kaneki has grown into roughly half a kakuja, Shinohara unveils his own Arata armor while the other investigators look on in disbelief.
Naki taunts and pins Koutarou Amon during their duel until Akira Mado slices through his kagune and runs him through with her chimera quinque. Shuu Tsukiyama moves to strike Akira but is stopped by Amon's weapon. Elsewhere, Nashiro and Kurona Yasuhisa slip past Juuzou Suzuya's blows, though Juuzou takes a cut across his own abdomen during the exchange.
