Hollow Tōjū

In his original state the Hollow Tōjū looks like a bald young man with dark eyes, bare feet, and a tattered pink robe that trails into two tails, worn over knee-length gray trousers tied with a violet-gray sash. That form is short-lived. Once a Hollow consumes and merges with him, he swells into something far larger and grislier: gray-skinned, with wholly yellow eyes, a horned mask sporting a second mouth within its jaws, an elongated neck, bony shoulder plates, and a Hollow hole set in a gaunt chest. Brown fur mats his limbs and his rounded lower body, spikes push from his elbows, and his feet are skeletal.

Aggression defines him in both bodies. He throws himself at Ichigo Kurosaki, Rangiku Matsumoto, Haineko, and Orihime Inoue without hesitation across their encounters. Driving all of it is a single fixation: he keeps demanding to be told where his master went. Tragically, he never grasps that he himself killed that master, and he keeps searching for him even after the Hollow swallows him whole.

As a Tōjū he already carries considerable Reiryoku, enough to briefly pressure Ichigo, and fusing with the Hollow amplifies it so far that he overwhelms Haineko with ease and trades even blows with a master swordsman. He fights with a long spear tipped by a knife-shaped blade and trailing a red streamer, spinning it two-handed for torque-heavy strikes before the merger and swinging it in brutal one-handed arcs afterward. The transformation grants him Sonido for sudden close-ins, raw strength enough to crater a wall with Haineko's body, and a powerful red Cero fired from his mouth that forces Ichigo to guard with his Shikai. He proves stubbornly durable too, fighting on through a deep gut wound and a slash across the chest before Hitsugaya finally entombs him in ice.
