Tetsuya Kakihara

Tetsuya Kakihara provides the Japanese voice of En Tayutai, known by the alias Smoke-Eater, one of the past wielders of One For All whose Quirk was Smokescreen. The character first appears as a silhouette early in the series before being properly named and explored through flashbacks tied to the power's history.

Tetsuya Kakihara is best known for voicing hot-blooded young leads, most notably Natsu Dragneel in Fairy Tail. That reputation for intense, driven characters carries into smaller parts like En Tayutai in My Hero Academia.

Alongside voice acting, Kakihara pursues a parallel career as a singer. He spent time with the Kiramune label after his years as a member of 81 Produce and now runs his own agency, Zynchro, having put out multiple albums and singles, including a debut single that served as an ending theme for Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East.

Kakihara has taken on otome game roles including K1-B0 in Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony and Shin in Amnesia, expanding his range beyond straight anime leads.

Born in 1982, Tetsuya Kakihara began his career in 2002. That two-decade-plus run spans My Hero Academia, Fairy Tail, and his separate work as a recording artist.
