Gameplay

Two new modes headline the update: a squad command mode where players organize a team to reclaim Titan held territory, and an anti-personnel mode pitting ODM equipped fighters against each other in aerial duels. New gear like the Thunder Spear and an anti-personnel mobility rig widen the combat options built into the base game.

Final Battle continues the adapted manga story from where the base game's epilogue leaves off, carrying the cast through material covered by the anime's third season. Koei Tecmo sells it both as a standalone package bundling the original game and as an Upgrade Pack DLC for existing Attack on Titan 2 owners.
