Story and Setting

After a crow makes off with the crew's Eternal Pose, the Straw Hats put in at an archipelago called Cream Mist. Its king, Cello, runs a contest known as Treasure Wars, in which players scour five islands for hidden Life Gems. Anyone who collects them all and returns them wins a hundred million Belli and an Eternal Pose to a destination of their choosing, so the crew joins in.

Gameplay

Players pick a member of the Straw Hat crew and compete on a board, racing to reach treasure or a key item before their rivals. Characters move around the board and clash with other pirates along the way, with non-selected crewmates and enemies also present as opponents.

Development and Release

Graphic Research developed the digital board game and Bandai published it for the WonderSwan Color. It released in Japan on January 3, 2002, and was followed later that same year by a direct sequel.
