Catherine Disher is a British actress and two-time Gemini Award winner who voiced multiple English-dub roles in Sailor Moon, most notably the villain Mimete.
Disher lent her voice to a wide range of parts across the English dub of Sailor Moon, most notably Mimete, one of the flashy, comedic Witches 5 villains from the Sailor Moon S season. She also voiced Princess Snow Kaguya, the central antagonist of the animated feature Sailor Moon S: The Movie, and Unazuki Furuhata, the older sister of recurring character Motoki. Rounding out her credits, she gave voice to several monster-of-the-week characters, including Tamasaburou, Nekonneru, and the Xenian Flower.
Outside of anime dubbing, Disher has built a substantial career in Canadian film and television, earning two Gemini Awards: one in 2005 for the Canadian miniseries Snakes and Ladders, the other in 2010 for her work on The Border. She was also nominated for a Gemini for playing Dr. Natalie Lambert on the supernatural drama Forever Knight. Her on-screen career, running since the mid-1980s, sits alongside her voice work as the more prominent side of her filmography.
