Taisei Yoshida

Yoshida keeps his dark brown hair in dreadlocks that spill downward, and his dark eyes are sharp, set with unusually small pupils.

Yoshida runs on his own schedule, one of the more self-directed students who mounts assassination attempts at his own pace. Growing up as the son of a motorcycle-shop owner left him hooked on bikes and their engineering, a fascination that shapes much of who he is. He also quietly adopted a delinquent persona on entering middle school, a fact he keeps hidden from everyone.

His father's workshop gave him a solid grounding in vehicle mechanics and metalwork. He proved capable enough to rebuild Principal Matsukata's bicycle alongside Itona Horibe, converting it into an electrically assisted three-wheeler, and he helps Itona tune remote-control machines, including the suspension on the first RC tank. Raised around motorcycles, he learned to ride from his father and practices on the family's private track, a confident if occasionally reckless rider whose showboating once flung Itona into a bush mid-powerslide.
