Focker

Focker is a bespectacled officer of the Amestrian armed forces, holding the rank of captain. A pair of glasses frames his brown eyes, and he keeps to the plain uniform worn by personnel stationed in the capital.

The narrative offers only a narrow view of the man, and it is the view of a steady desk officer. Posted to paperwork rather than combat, Focker cooperates readily with the probe into Hughes' death and relays the thin store of clues to Roy Mustang plainly, without dressing them up.

Focker shares a Central City records office with Lieutenant Colonel Maes Hughes and the bookish clerk Sheska. When Hughes is killed, the captain becomes part of the follow-up inquiry and walks Colonel Mustang through what little evidence the investigators managed to gather. That connection later makes him a convenient disguise, as Envy takes on Focker's appearance to pry classified details about Mustang out of Sheska. On a lighter note, the character was handed his own eyecatch card partway through the Brotherhood run, and his name likely nods to the Dutch aircraft maker Fokker or the Fokker D.VII fighter of the First World War.
