Mick Murray

Mick is one of the soldiers of the Briggs garrison, serving in its ranks in the frozen north under Major General Armstrong and, during the Baschool operation, Major Miles.

He is a dependable soldier who follows his orders, from covert impersonation to an assassination assignment. His guiding aim is protective, and much of his later duty centers on the safety of Winry Rockbell.

Mick first appears under Major Miles at Baschool, where the squad works to capture Scar. As Miles organizes the search parties, Edward sits beside a dummy built from Alphonse's armor with Mick concealed inside, posing as Al. He is afterward handed orders to kill Solf J. Kimblee, though the target slips away. Months later, together with Liam Roach, he is responsible for getting Winry Rockbell safely home. On the Promised Day the two remain at Rockbell Automail to guard Pinako and Winry, though they can do nothing against the Nationwide Transmutation Circle. His name came from studio Bones, who thought of the musician Mick Jagger when a western name was needed.
