Appearance

A mustache and heavy brows frame the tailor's aging face, and his brown eyes sit just beneath them. Bald across the crown with hair clinging only to the sides, he covers the top with a toupée that he eventually casts aside. For clothing he favors a blue kimono top over gray trousers, finished off with plain sandals.

Personality

Warmth defines the old craftsman. He counted among the handful of people who believed in Saitama's ambition to become a hero, going so far as to mend the young man's torn pants without charging him a single cent.

History

During Road to Hero, the tailor is being leaned on by a loan gang's enforcer when Saitama wanders into his shop. He patches the young man's trousers and eagerly pitches a hero costume design, which Saitama quietly declines, and he warns his customer about the rising crime on the streets. When Saitama comes back for the garment, the tailor confesses that he can no longer cover the mounting fees and interest and must close the store down.

Grateful after Saitama defends his shop, he takes the newly evicted hero into his home, thanking him even as he resolves to shut down for good on account of his age. Despite that decision, he finishes one final creation, the outfit that becomes Saitama's signature hero suit.
