Tohru and Kyo's Granddaughter

Tohru and Kyo's granddaughter is a lively elementary schooler and the child of their younger son. She strongly resembles her grandmother Tohru and appears in the series' closing chapter alongside the family she adores.

She is a small girl with short, straight brown hair worn in twin pigtails fastened with red beads, and brown eyes. Dressed in a white sailor uniform with a blue collar, she looks strikingly like her grandmother Tohru.

She is a typical child, full of energy, cheer, and a bit of a loud mouth. In her one appearance she hums to herself while clutching toy versions of the Cat and the Rat.

Tohru and Kyo's granddaughter calls her grandparents Tohru-kun and Kyo-kun out of familiarity, a habit her mother scolds her for even though the girl insists Tohru allows it. It reflects how close she is to the older couple, who let her use their first names.

In the final chapter, Tohru and Kyo's granddaughter asks her mother where her grandparents have gone, and her father reveals they are walking in the garden. She grumbles that they have slipped off again, but she and her parents choose not to disturb them, understanding how much the couple treasures their time alone.
