Destrochloridium

Destrochloridium is a diminutive creature with speckled skin, oversized eyes, and prominent lips. A pair of antennae rise from its head, and its two rounded, fingerless hands can reshape themselves into drills.

Sadistic by nature, Destrochloridium killed people purely for amusement, once gunning down a Hero Association staffer and then apologizing for its own lack of restraint. It also hungered for greater power, hoping to claim it by hijacking the body of an S-Class hero.

Destrochloridium seizes a Hero Association staff member and uses the puppet to carry one of Gyoro Gyoro's eyes into an executive meeting, passing along a message and shooting one committee member dead during the talks. After Gyoro Gyoro's eye self-destructs, the parasite moves to slaughter the remaining executives, but Superalloy Darkshine arrives and hurls the host body into a wall. Slipping free, Destrochloridium tries to bore into Darkshine, yet its drills cannot break the hero's skin, and Darkshine crushes it to death.

Though only Tiger-level, the parasite was dangerous out of all proportion to its rank thanks to its tiny size and its power to commandeer a host, since seizing a strong enough body could make it mightier than most monsters. Its parasitic mind control let it burrow into a human's brain and steer them, usually leaving an antenna jutting from the victim's skull, but unlike Do-S it had to physically enter a body to take the reins. Its drill arms were as hard as steel and served both to attack and to invade a host, while its minute frame gave it enough speed to slip out of one body and appear beneath Darkshine before anyone reacted.
