Red Nose

True to his name, Red Nose sports a bright red nose, paired with curly red hair, listless eyes, and eyebrows that slant down at a permanent angle. He carries an out-of-shape, rather heavy build and ranks among the shortest heroes around, usually drawn standing below the people near him.

Red Nose is self-centered and starved for attention, mugging for the camera even as he tries to coax a man off a ledge. He is a coward who bolts at the first sight of a monster, yet wildly overconfident too: he read Garou's rising notoriety after the beating of Tanktop Master as his own shot at promotion, brushing the Hero Hunter off simply because he is human.

In the Hero Hunt Arc, Red Nose starts running his mouth about the heroes Garou has already thrashed, drawing sharp words from Hyottoko and Studless, and shows off his martial arts right as Garou materializes behind him; the patrol is later found beaten on the street. He resurfaces in the ruined Z-City Ghost Town among the heroes arguing over the depowered Garou before King steps in. Later, as part of the Hero Name Victims Association, he helps recruit Saitama over his absurd hero name, then joins the group's charge against Mirror at the A-City headquarters, where the robot routs them until Saitama, provoked by hearing his own hero name, destroys it in one hit as Red Nose looks on.

Like most of C-Class, Red Nose prefers to pool numbers against a crisis rather than face it alone, and given how fast Garou downed him he rates as weak even for his class. He fights bare-handed and claims a little martial arts knowledge, and he wears homemade armor built by his mother, decorated with a nose and the letter R on the chest plus more noses running down the shoulders and arms. His wished-for hero name is Red Thunder, and he holds the spot of lowest-ranked hero yet revealed, with only five unnamed heroes placed beneath him.
