Koki Mimura

Mimura wears his light brown hair in a bowl cut and has light-colored eyes, rendered as a mix of orange-brown and green in the anime. He is repeatedly described as having a plain, forgettable look.

Mimura's defining trait is his devotion to media production; his sights are set on working in television one day, and he belonged to the Film Research Society before dropping into Class E. Away from that ambition he nurses a crush on Yukiko Kanzaki, and his off-hours run to watching artistic-appreciation DVDs and strumming an imaginary air guitar. His strongest subject is Social Studies, while Biology gives him the most trouble.

Mimura has a real gift for audio and video work and has shown genuine skill in the field. That production background sharpens his eyesight beyond most of his classmates, letting him pick out a person from a hundred meters away. Combined with his plain, easily overlooked appearance and his director's habit of taking in the whole picture, this makes him ideally suited to scouting. During the class civil war he served as reconnaissance, leaking the Blue Team's formation to Karma, before Isogai spotted him scouting and shot him out of the match.
