Lovro Brovski

Even in his later years Lovro keeps a solid, powerful frame that marks him as a seasoned killer and instructor. His hair is cropped and black, and dark rimmed lines circle a pair of tiny brown eyes, while age shows in the deep creases of his skin, his jutting cheekbones, and his sharply cut chin. A scar crosses his left eye. He dresses in layers of dark tailoring, a black turtleneck beneath an open white shirt and black blazer, matching trousers and shoes, black gloves, and a grey trench coat thrown over the whole outfit.

Lovro is cunning and carries an unshakable faith in his own killing craft, so much so that he initially fails to notice how the passing years have blunted him. Despite that pride, he comes to respect the potential in Class 3-E and gladly lends his experience to their training, going as far as to teach Nagisa the stun clap.

Lovro built a lethal reputation before stepping away from the trade, and afterward he grew wealthy as a dealer who matches clients with the right killer, a middleman standing between the two worlds. His path ran from ordinary office work through mercenary service and professional contract killing before he settled into training and brokering. His personal tally is said to reach 191 kills, not counting those his pupils claimed. He carries an Eastern European accent, rendered as Serbian in the anime.

He first appears arranging Irina Jelavić's contract on Korosensei, and when her efforts collapse he corners her with a wire trap, only for Karasuma to force him to release her. Convinced she is out of her depth, he tries to send her home, easily overpowering her to prove the point, until Korosensei steps in to argue that her particular talents fit the class after all. Lovro then spends part of the summer coaching Class 3-E, briefing Nagisa on the Reaper and handing him the secret stun clap technique. Later a job nearly ends him at the Reaper's hands, but he pulls through after a month spent in a coma.
