Masayoshi Kimura

Kimura's hair is a dark brown-green that rises in a cluster of jagged ridges tapering to a pointed tip, set above a pair of black eyes.

Easygoing, unruffled, and a little reserved, Kimura is nonetheless one of the more forward students when a chance to strike at Korosensei arises, with the enormous cash reward firmly in his sights. He has openly voiced his distaste for his own legal first name, which reads as 'Justice.'

Both of Kimura's parents serve as police officers with a firm sense of right and wrong, which led them to name their son 'Justice,' a choice they refused to reverse. The constant teasing over the name wore down his focus, dragged his grades lower, and ultimately dropped him into Class 3-E. His discomfort with the name becomes the heart of one chapter, in which Korosensei suggests he could legally change it but points out how much better the headline would read if the boy who saved the world happened to be called Justice, giving Kimura reason to hold off on any change.

His standout gift is raw speed; he is the quickest runner in the class and was tasked with drawing Karasuma away during a game of cops and robbers. He also placed joint fourth among his classmates in early knife training. Years afterward, following in his parents' footsteps, Kimura becomes a police officer.
