Island Time

Days into the holidays, Nagisa joins Sugino, Maehara, and Kurahashi hunting stag beetles to sell, only for Okajima to reveal a scheme of his own: a month of studying Korosensei's reactions to pornography, staged around a pit of anti-sensei pellets rigged to a cut rope. The teacher, disguised as a giant beetle atop a heap of magazines, spoils the trap the instant his eyes lock onto a white-eyed albino beetle in a tree. He and an overjoyed Kurahashi leap in celebration over the rare find, leaving Korosensei mortified that the boys witnessed his habits.

A week before the trip, the class returns to train, and with Korosensei recuperating on Mount Everest, Karasuma brings in Lovro as a guest instructor.

Lovro reviews the plan, praising its brutal psychological opening built on Korosensei's embarrassing footage, and admires the marksmanship of snipers Hayami and Chiba. When Nagisa asks who the finest killer is, Lovro speaks of a figure known only as the God of Death, whom uncatchable targets eventually meet, and begins teaching the boy a surefire technique. Arriving at the island, the class reserves the whole resort and splits into groups to distract their teacher while others scout for the night's attempt.

By day's end Korosensei is so sunburned his face is unreadable, and after a boat ride he sheds his skin to shed the burn, forgetting that the once-a-month defense leaves him weaker. The students then lead him to a small theater hut ringed by water and declare it time to kill him.

The episode adapts Chapters 56 through 58. Grip and Gastro appear in silhouette, Smog tends bar, and the God of Death is mentioned. Korosensei's Everest training and Karasuma's suspicions about the Ministry of Defense are cut, and Irina's swimsuit is toned down from the manga. It first aired in Japan on May 15, 2015.
