End of Term Time, 2nd Period

Reviewing the festival with the Big Five, Chairman Asano faults them for not sabotaging the outcasts, even suggesting they should have poisoned the natural ingredients. His son Gakushu objects, arguing that a year of losses proves his father's belief in ruling the weak is flawed, since the elite students have grown only by chasing their rivals. The chairman answers by shutting Gakushu out for three minutes, then reveals a room of friends chanting to destroy the enemy class, and announces he will run the term exams himself.

Asano tightens his grip elsewhere too, feeding a homeless gambler he engineered and squeezing Karasuma for more funding as the assassination deadline looms. In the mountain classroom the students learn Class A is now taught by the chairman, whose lessons leave even top pupils brainwashed and reciting the same slogans.

Gakushu waits for Class 3-E after school and, in an uncharacteristic bow, asks them to kill his father's teaching philosophy by claiming the fifty highest spots from Class A. If the outcasts lose, they will defer to the chairman's methods, and Gakushu himself will stay forever second to his father. Karma bluntly promises to take the number one rank from Gakushu directly, and the two agree to study as though hunting each other.

Korosensei quietly meets the chairman, who asks why anyone becomes a teacher; the vague reply about either passing on triumphs or hiding failures clearly lands. When exams begin, Korosensei has each subject's strongest student coach the rest, yet the punishing English paper exhausts even Nagisa, and later subjects prove harder still. In the final maths section Karma and Gakushu race toward a showdown on the last question.

The episode contrasts two mentors who mold struggling pupils in opposite directions, Korosensei rebuilding confidence while the chairman weaponizes fear and hatred. Gakushu's growing rift with his father, framed strictly as teacher and student even at home, sets up his willingness to side against Asano's system, and the cliffhanger holds on the unresolved duel between the two academic rivals.
