School Trip Time, 2nd Period

As the other groups accompany Korosensei on a tour through Kyoto, a professional shooter known as Red Eye is contracted to pick him off from a series of vantage points. Every shot he lines up is foiled by some unlikely twist of chance, and the job is ultimately scrapped when Nagisa's group runs into trouble with the delinquents. That night, Korosensei seeks Red Eye out himself, buying him a meal and thanking him for turning the trip into a genuine learning experience for the class through his attempts.

Won over by the octopus's convictions as a teacher, Red Eye chooses to give up the assassin's trade and set out to see the world. Back at the hotel, the boys' and girls' downtime spirals into a class-wide chase after Korosensei once he is caught eavesdropping on their gossip. He slips away and confides to Karasuma that the students had been badgering him to spill details of his romantic past. As the field trip winds down, the world's governments ready two elite assassins to be planted inside Class 3-E.

The episode aired on March 6, 2015, adapting Chapter 18 and Chapter 19. It closes out the Kyoto arc and plants the seed for the transfer students who will soon arrive in the class, tying Red Eye's change of heart into the recurring theme of Korosensei winning over even those sent to kill him.
