Home Time is the first bonus chapter of the Assassination Classroom manga, a self-contained side story collected in the twenty-first volume. It follows a band of hired killers whose winter crosses paths with Korosensei at a small bar.
The tale opens in a frozen, snowbound place, where a tracker known as Seeker uncovers the location of a concealed refuge. Once he has what he came for, he heads to a tavern kept by a young woman named Hotaru and her mother, Azusa, where three associates wait for him: Mario, Chantha, and Futoshi. As Seeker lays out what he learned about the hideout's owner, his companions grow repulsed and let down while hearing about Korosensei's many quirks.
A look backward reveals the moment Seeker closed in. The creature had been mortified that anyone could pin down the private retreat he keeps to himself. He confided that once each month he steps away to unwind there, a spot where he can drop his guard without setting a poor example for his pupils. Rather than lash out, he complimented the intruder's skill, packed up his belongings, and slipped off to a fresh location.
Back in the present, the four killers find themselves briefly smitten with Azusa, and everyone but Futoshi trades jealous scowls. A clumsily disguised Korosensei strolls in and greets the group by name, which sends them lunging at him all at once. Watching the brawl unfold, Hotaru recalls that the octopus once worked as a teacher, and that she herself resembles one of the children he taught. She frames the whole affair as a fleeting memory of the winter she passed in the company of these men.
Labeled Extra Chapter 1, the nineteen-page story reached print on April 4, 2016, in that year's issue 18, and belongs to the twenty-first tankobon, Time to Say Thank You. It has no numbered predecessor and is trailed by the second bonus installment, Pub Time. Its small cast is limited to Seeker, Hotaru, Azusa, Korosensei, Mario, Chantha, and Futoshi. The Japanese title reads Jitaku no Jikan.

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
