Assassination Classroom: Our Time

Built on the Assassination Classroom property, this feature debuted in Japanese theaters on March 20, 2026 as the centerpiece of the series' tenth-anniversary celebration. Masaki Kitamura directed from a script by Makoto Uezu, with animation handled by Lerche and a score credited to Yoshiaki Dewa, Naoki Sato, and Toru Ishitsuka. Running roughly eighty minutes, it rolled out internationally across the following months, reaching France, Malaysia, Germany, the Philippines, and South Korea after its home premiere.

Class 3-E finds itself with just fifteen days left to carry out the assassination of Korosensei. With that deadline looming, the students pause before lessons to look back on everything they have been through together. They recall the many times their teacher lent them help and encouragement, along with the countless smaller moments they shared as a class, and measure how far each of them has come since the start of the year. The film weaves this retrospective from a selection of adapted chapters, drawing on entries such as Home Time, Pub Time, Identity Time, and Time to Say Thank You.

The movie performed strongly at the box office, taking in roughly 600 million yen in Japan, which translates to about 3.9 million dollars worldwide. Its distribution spanned several companies by region, including Avex Film Labels at home, ADN across France, Belgium, and Luxembourg, and Muse Asia throughout South and Southeast Asia, reflecting the franchise's continued international reach a decade after its debut.
