Koro-Sensei Quest!

This series adapts Koro-Sensei Q!, the comedic fantasy offshoot of Assassination Classroom, into animation. It first appeared on December 23, 2016 and ran as twelve episodes of roughly ten minutes each. Lerche handled production under director Yoshito Nishouji, with Naoki Sato scoring the music and Yusei Matsui credited as the original creator alongside writers Makoto Uezu and Jou Aoto. Kazuaki Morita provided the character designs.

The spin-off drops the familiar killer class into a swords-and-sorcery setting, following the chibi versions of Class 3-E as they study swordsmanship and magic at Kunugigaoka Magic School. Their goal is to bring down the wicked Demon King Koro Sensei while surviving the many trials and dangers their enchanted academy throws at them. The tone leans into lighthearted parody, trading the original's tension for magical mishaps and comedy built around the same beloved cast.

Crunchyroll carried the streaming release, and FUNimation announced an English dub that began airing on its website on January 11, 2017, bringing back the voice actors from the parent anime in their established roles. The property extended beyond the short episodes into a longer companion piece as well, and it stood as part of the wider push of Assassination Classroom spin-off media following the main series.
