Marley arc

Marley arc sits eighth in the manga's sequence of story arcs and is known in Japanese as Māre-hen. It spans chapters 91 through 106, sixteen chapters collected in volumes 23 to 26, with serialization stretching from March 8, 2017 to June 8, 2018. Return to Shiganshina arc precedes it, and War for Paradis arc picks up where it ends. The story leaves Paradis Island behind and plays out across the sea in Marley itself.

Marley brings its campaign against the Mid-East Allied Forces to a close by unleashing its Titans, yet the victory only sharpens an uncomfortable truth: modern weaponry is catching up, and Titan power no longer guarantees dominance. The Marleyan military concludes that holding onto global supremacy requires the Founding Titan above all else. That power still belongs to Eren Yeager and the Eldians remaining on Paradis Island, the people Marley brands as devils, so Reiner Braun must prepare to face his old enemies once again.

The arc opens with The Other Side of the Ocean and moves through chapters such as The War Hammer Titan, Declaration of War, and Assault before closing on Brave Volunteers.

The struggle between Marley and the island it condemns now points toward open war. War for Paradis arc follows directly, carrying the confrontation Reiner has been bracing for into its next stage.
