Summary
Kuklo comes to know the trainees who discovered him unconscious. Every one of them is fascinated by his vertical maneuvering device, and all share the ambition of entering the Survey Corps. Kuklo soon sees the newest iteration of the equipment, built for soldiers and trainees alike. Then word about a coming expedition surfaces, and with it a danger lurking inside the regiment's own ranks, one that could finish the journey before it starts.
