War for Paradis arc

War for Paradis arc closes out the Attack on Titan manga as its ninth story arc. Thirty-three chapters, numbers 107 through 139, carry the series to its conclusion, filling volumes 27 through 34 across a serialization run from July 9, 2018 to April 9, 2021. The Marley arc comes before it, no arc follows, and its English name is unofficial.

Home again on Paradis after striking Liberio under Eren Yeager's lead, the Survey Corps discovers that the greater danger now sits inside its own borders. The Yeagerists, soldiers who have broken from the chain of command, move to take control of the island, dreaming of a reborn Eldian Empire with Eren at its head. Marley, still reeling from the raid, prepares its own crushing retaliation against the island at the same moment. Threatened from within and without, Paradis becomes the stage for a conflict fought on several fronts at once, one that will settle the island's fate. The arc's later chapters include landmark titles such as "From You, 2,000 Years Ago," "The Rumbling," and "The Battle of Heaven and Earth."

Chapter 139, "Toward the Tree on That Hill," ends both the arc and the manga itself; nothing succeeds it. The anime tells the same material as its own concluding arc, likewise titled War for Paradis.
