History
Florian is born a single day before Historia, her father's illegitimate daughter. In 845, following the breach of Wall Maria, Grisha Yeager forces his way into the Reiss Chapel while the family shelters there, transforms into a Titan, and wipes out nearly the entire household. Rod later recounts that Grisha crushed the ten-year-old underfoot together with her mother while the two clung to each other.
The Kodansha English edition of chapter 63 mistakenly refers to Florian as male.
