For 2,000 years an unbroken bloodline ran from the slave girl Ymir to the kings of Eldia. The Fritz family ruled through the Founding Titan, then split itself in two: one branch hid inside the Walls as the Reiss family while the other withered in Marley until only Dina remained.
Eldia's original royal house, the Fritz family, held power through the Founding Titan for two millennia. The Great Titan War tore it apart. Karl Fritz led part of the line into the Walls he raised on Paradis Island, where it hid behind the guise of a minor noble house, the Reiss family, while relatives who rejected his retreat stayed on a mainland soon conquered by Marley. By the year 824 that continental branch had dwindled to a single descendant, Dina Fritz, and with her titanization the Fritz name effectively died even though royal blood flows on through the Reiss line.
The dynasty begins with Ymir herself. An enslaved girl blamed for a loose pig and hunted for sport, she falls into water beneath a great tree, merges with a spine-like creature, and becomes the first Titan. The king exploits her power to build, to farm, and to crush Marley, makes her his concubine, and fathers Maria, Rose, and Sheena. When she dies protecting him after thirteen years of service, he has the daughters devour her corpse to keep the power in the blood and orders the line to reproduce and cannibalize itself forever. Her fractured ability becomes the Nine Titans, and her spirit keeps serving her descendants from within the paths.
Over the centuries the family engineers its own bodyguard, the Ackerman clan, out of Titan science, and keeps its quarreling vassal houses in line with the Founder. The 145th king breaks the cycle. Convinced Eldia's atrocities were beyond forgiveness, Karl Fritz conspires with the Tybur family, fabricates the hero Helos as Marley's savior, moves his capital to Paradis Island, and turns masses of his own subjects into the hardened Colossus Titans that form the three Walls. He then wipes his people's memories of the outside world, leaves a false monarch ruling under the Fritz name, and lets the true family govern quietly as the Reiss line.
The mainland remnant hides in Marley's internment zones, its one attempt at a revolutionary army ending in executions. Dina Fritz, the last of them, joins the Eldian Restorationists at the Owl's direction, marries Grisha Yeager, and bears Zeke, a child they groom as Eldia's future king. Seven-year-old Zeke betrays the movement; Dina is turned into a Pure Titan on Paradis, vowing first to find Grisha no matter what she becomes. Thirteen years later her wandering Titan devours Grisha's second wife, Carla, in fallen Shiganshina. Zeke rises to captain of Marley's Warriors, hides the royal blood behind his Beast Titan's strange power, titanizes the villagers of Ragako, fatally wounds Erwin Smith at Shiganshina, and finally conspires with his half-brother Eren, engineering the attack on the Liberio festival in the belief that uniting royal blood with the Founding Titan is worth any sacrifice.
Ymir Fritz begins the line, and the ancient king Fritz with his daughters Maria, Rose, and Sheena carries it forward. Karl Fritz, the 145th monarch, reshapes world history from inside the Walls. Dina Fritz ends the mainland branch as a Pure Titan, and her son Zeke Yeager, raised under his father's name, is the family's last royal-blooded schemer. All eight known members are dead by the story's end.

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
