Marley's failed survey fleets leave Griez stranded on the island he despises, waiting tables in Niccolo's restaurant while nursing an undimmed hatred of Eldians. His loathing survives capture, imprisonment, and friendship, and finally provokes Yelena into shooting him mid-sentence.
Griez keeps his dark hair shaved close to the scalp. Through most of his appearances he is dressed for restaurant work; after the Yeagerists pull him out of that job, he adopts the dark jacket and trousers worn by the rest of the Anti-Marleyan Volunteers.
Like many of his countrymen, Griez carries a fanatical contempt for Eldians, and unlike other captured Marleyans on Paradis, years spent living among them never cracks it. Where fellow prisoners come to see the islanders as human beings like anyone else, he clings to the doctrine he was raised on.
His friend Niccolo becomes the focus of that bitterness. Listening night after night as Niccolo gushes about Sasha Blouse, the soldier he fell for, convinces Griez that his comrade has betrayed Marley, and the resentment curdles into cold cruelty. By the time he joins the Anti-Marleyan Volunteers he hands Niccolo over without hesitation, and his frustration boils out in vulgar abuse of the dead Sasha, whore and devil's daughter among the slurs he hurls in front of her grieving family.
Griez serves in Marley's navy aboard a fleet dispatched to probe Paradis Island after the collapse of the Paradis Island Operation. Captured by the island's Eldians, he is put to work waiting tables in the restaurant run by his fellow prisoner Niccolo, at one point fetching a specific bottle of wine for a table of Military Police officials.
When officers of the Survey Corps drop in to visit Niccolo, Griez alerts him and quietly tips off the Yeagerists, then helps the faction arrest the soldiers. Their warning that wine dosed with Zeke Yeager's spinal fluid is circulating through the Walls gets waved off as a theory Niccolo dreamed up. Later, Griez accompanies Onyankopon and Yelena to the prison holding Niccolo and the others. When his old friend wonders aloud whether the pair will end up ruling Paradis once Eren and Zeke's plan is carried out, Griez erupts, naming Niccolo the true traitor and defiling Sasha's memory until Yelena silences him with a bullet through the head. He shares a June 16th birthday with Marco Bott.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
