Personality

The story gives Nac almost no time to reveal who he is, but his last act speaks for him. When an abnormal Titan wounds Eren Yeager, Nac and the rest of the squad rush in to help their comrade instead of retreating, a choice that costs every one of them their lives. Armin Arlert later frames his death to the other trainees as a brave one, carried out in the line of duty.

History

When Trost District comes under attack, Nac deploys with the middle guard. His squad barely gets into position before an abnormal Titan ambushes them, devouring Thomas Wagner. Eren is maimed attempting to avenge Thomas, and Nac dies alongside the others who try to reach him. Armin afterward reports the loss to the remaining members of the 104th, honoring how Nac fell.

Years later, beneath the Reiss Chapel, Eren counts Nac among the people whose deaths he and Grisha Yeager bear responsibility for through their theft of the Coordinate power.
