Porco Galliard

Gray eyes and slicked-back blond hair in an undercut define Galliard's human face. Of medium height and lean build, he favors combat trousers with a short coat, the mandatory Eldian armband on his left sleeve; on Paradis he hides among the Yeagerists in a stolen Garrison uniform.

The Jaw Titan he inherits measures five meters and often runs on all fours like the Cart. Long blond hair frames deep-set eyes under a heavy brow, a bearded chin, and a cog-like ring of hardened plate where lips should be. Matching armor sheathes the face, fingers, and knuckles.

On the battlefield Galliard throws himself forward without flinching, leaping into gunfire to cover Gabi and Falco and crushing enemy positions for his people, though his confidence in the Titan's durability borders on arrogance; the Survey Corps fighting him to a standstill visibly stuns him. Off the field he is bitter and condescending, aiming passive-aggressive jabs mostly at Reiner, whom he once punched during an argument in their candidate days.

The hostility masks deep attachment. When Pieck and Zeke both go down in Liberio, panic and fury override his discipline and he charges Eren in a blind rage, ignoring Pieck's pleas and leaving his comrades exposed. That same recklessness lets Mikasa ambush him the moment the Paradis airship appears overhead. However rude his tongue, his fellow Warriors matter to him more than his pride.

Once the favorite to inherit the Armored Titan, Galliard trains as a Warrior candidate alongside his brother Marcel, mocking Reiner as a talentless bootlicker along the way. In 843 the army passes him over: Reiner receives the Armor and Marcel the Jaw, and Galliard stays on the mainland while the Paradis operation swallows his brother. When Ymir, the Titan who ate Marcel, is shipped back to Marley around 850, Galliard consumes her as a Pure Titan and reclaims the Jaw for his family, inheriting her memories but nothing of Marcel's.

At Fort Slava he shields Gabi and Falco from machine-gun fire, shreds the Mid-East Allied defenses and railways with his bite, and covers Reiner's assault. Recovering afterward, he coldly tells Reiner the rescue was only about preserving the Armored Titan, blaming him for Marcel's death. During the Liberio festival the disguised Yelena drops him and Pieck into a confinement pit; freed by the Panzer Unit, he hurls himself into the raid, clamping onto the Attack Titan's nape and unknowingly saving Lara Tybur, until Levi's blades and a Thunder Spear teach him what Paradis soldiers can do. Pieck's guns save his life. Enraged by Bertolt's stolen Colossus detonating in the harbor, he charges Eren again, only for Mikasa to sever his legs and for Eren to force his jaws through the War Hammer's crystal, killing Lara Tybur and handing Eren her power. Reiner drags him from Eren's teeth.

In the assault on Shiganshina, Galliard shields Pieck and Gabi from Eren's transformation blast, frees Pieck's shackled arm, and harasses Eren through the battle despite repeated poundings from hardened fists and the Beast Titan's stone barrages. Grabbing Reiner mid-fight transfers to him the memory of Marcel confessing that he sabotaged Porco's candidacy to save his life. His wounds past healing, Galliard climbs from his Titan, tells Reiner that he has finally seen his brother's memories and has always been the better Warrior, and lets the transformed Falco devour him, passing on the Jaw.

He returns once more when Ymir Fritz raises the past inheritors to defend Eren's Founding Titan. Woken inside paths by Zeke, Galliard turns his Titan against the horde, and together with Marcel he saves Jean and Pieck, fighting on until Eren's nape is destroyed.
