Zofia

Blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail, with bangs left loose across her forehead, frames Zofia's fair, oval face. Her blue eyes sit deep beneath a straight Greek nose, and her default expression is a serious one. Of medium height and slim, she wears the Marleyan candidate uniform: light jacket and trousers, hip packs, suspender straps, tall dark boots, and a hard hat. Eldian markers set her apart from true Marleyans, a star badge at the collar, a white hat stripe bearing the same star, and the armband her family has always been required to wear.

Very little rattles Zofia. She meets ugly situations with sarcasm rather than fear, and when Udo panics over the possibility of Marley losing and yanks Falco's bandage too tight, her response is laughter. Confidence comes with the composure; during talk of who deserves the Armored Titan, she points to her grades as proof she outranks Gabi Braun, the only one in their circle willing to challenge Gabi's standing. The cool exterior does not mean indifference, though. When Falco returns from the front bloodied and dazed, she is among the first cleaning his wounds.

Zofia serves with the other Warrior candidates through the Marley Mid-East War, helping bandage Falco Grice when Colt carries him back to the trench. After the victory at Fort Slava she watches the defeated Mid-East soldiers shipped home, attends the celebration honoring Gabi, and returns to her family in Liberio, later grumbling alongside Udo about how quickly the candidates are summoned back to headquarters.

During the festival season she congratulates Falco for beating Gabi in a footrace, a compliment that earns her a choking from the sore loser and prompts Zofia to call her a devil. She waits tables at the reception for the visiting ambassadors, spends the festival day alongside Reiner and her friends, and sits with the Warriors for Willy Tybur's address, where the truth about Karl Fritz ending the Great Titan War leaves her stunned. Moments later Eren Yeager bursts out behind the stage in his Attack Titan form. The blast hurls wreckage into the audience, and a boulder lands on Zofia, killing her instantly with only her legs left visible.
