Deg is a cowardly, rat-faced bandit from Berserk's Conviction Arc whose cruelty toward the girl Jill marks him as vermin even among his own crew. Rosine later reshapes him into one of the Misty Valley's insectile guardians, putting him on a collision course with Guts.
In human form Deg is a blonde bandit with a rodent-like face. Once Rosine remakes him as a pseudo-apostle, he takes on an insectile body patterned after an earwig, tail and all, fitting the bug motif shared by her other guardians.
Deg is a lecherous coward who fixates on Jill and paws at her without shame until she fights back. Even his fellow bandits call him pathetic, and they judge him unhinged when he suggests reenacting a folk rite that would have cost Jill her life. Despite all his timidity, sheer panic drives him to threaten Guts with violence.
Deg carries a small dagger to menace Jill and Guts, though he loses it so quickly that his true skill with the blade never surfaces. His pseudo-apostle form makes him far harder to put down: throwing knives to the eye and mouth, along with several crossbow bolts, fail to stop him. The earwig body wields a tail sturdy enough to trap a swing of the Dragon Slayer, yet a clean strike from that massive sword can still split his shell apart.
His turn as a monster comes when Guts enters the Misty Valley hunting Jill and Rosine. Deg rises from a heap of corpses and, alongside other transformed bandits, throws himself at the swordsman, undaunted by knives and bolts, before the Dragon Slayer finally cuts him in two.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....

As a pseudo-apostle, Deg becomes far harder to kill than as a human. Throwing knives to the eye and mouth, along with several crossbow bolts, fail to stop him, and his tail is sturdy enough to trap a swing of the Dragon Slayer.
