History

The nobleman bought Casca from her impoverished parents at the age of twelve, ostensibly to serve as a maid in his castle. On the journey there he revealed his true intent, driving her from the carriage and pinning her down to assault her. As she began to give in, Griffith rode up and struck off the man's ear, then held out his sword to the girl. When the nobleman lunged for her throat, Casca seized the blade and drove it through his chest, killing her attacker and setting the course of her life toward the Band of the Falcon.
