Griffith masses his troops into a single charging line just as the towering Ganishka arrives and stamps down through its center. Riding on Zodd's back, Griffith soars up through the giant's flailing arms to land on its head, where he finds the last remnant of the emperor: half a human face.
Griffith draws his soldiers into one long rank and leads them in a charge at the monsters. Stepping off Zodd, Griffith crosses into a shallow hollow on Ganishka's head, and there he discovers all that is left of the emperor's human self: half of the Kushan ruler's face.
