Appearance

Broad and heavily built, Aldegor towers over most who stand against him. Dark hair juts upward from his head above a pair of teal eyes, and he wears the plain blouse common to Arrancar. What survives of his Hollow mask forms a horned skull that clings to the upper left portion of his face, its single bull-like spur marking him out.

Personality

A brash and haughty streak runs through Aldegor, though he lacks the cruelty that defines his companion Menis. Drawn-out combat wears on his patience, and he would sooner release his sword and finish a Soul Reaper off in short order than let a duel drag on.

History

Aldegor joins Patros and Menis in a plan to make off with the Hogyoku, but the plot unravels when Ulquiorra Cifer appears to stop them. In the confusion Menis strikes at Aldegor from behind, and Aldegor runs him through as he turns around, none of them aware that the figure before them is actually Aizen's sword wearing Ulquiorra's shape. Believing their obstacle handled, the trio cross into the human world, where Patros splits off to hunt for Kisuke Urahara.

Aldegor then squares off against Ikkaku Madarame, unleashing his blade Jabali in the process. In that released form, armor sheathes his upper body and arms, his mask reshapes into a jaw set before his throat, and six jointed limbs sprout from his back for both guarding and attacking, and he can even curl inside them to hurtle at a foe as a rushing sphere. His iron Hierro holds against Ikkaku's weapon for a while, and he moves with the flash-step technique Sonido, yet the fight turns against him. Beaten and forced to flee, he reaches Patros once more only to succumb to his injuries, using his final breath to voice regret for ever joining the uprising.
