History

When the Karakura Superheroes carve through a swarm of Hollows atop a building, the survivors flare with red spiritual energy and fuse together into Angila. Don Kanonji hails the monster as the Bad Spirits King, declaring that it has finally shown itself. The beast drives its head through a stairwell and knocks Yuzu Kurosaki over the edge of the roof with a swipe, dragging Raku down with her before it scales the wall in pursuit. Raku breaks free and shifts into a lion-like form wreathed in flame and clad in red armor, then rams Angila back onto the rooftop and hurls it off the far side with a burning charge. The finish comes as a chain of attacks: Don Kanonji looses his Golden Kanonball into two orbs of energy, Jinta swats them into the Hollow with his Jinta Home Run, Karin drives a flaming soccer ball into its skull with her Karin-Style Death Shot, and Ururu erases what remains under a storm of blasts from her Senren Bakusatsu Taiho.

Abilities

As a Hollow, Angila holds a measure of spiritual power, and its enormous frame grants it brute strength to match, enough to shatter concrete with a headbutt and fling Yuzu Kurosaki across the rooftop with a single blow. The creature goes unnamed within the anime itself, receiving the title Angila, a nod to the Spanish word for eel, only through the game BLEACH Soul Resonance.
