Born from the blade of Mayuri Kurotsuchi, this small winged figure is one of the materialized Zanpakutō Spirits of the anime-exclusive Zanpakutō Rebellion. Twisted violent by Muramasa's control, it wields a paralyzing poison, and after its release becomes a timid, well-meaning oddity.
The spirit presents as a diminutive golden humanoid, its face marked by thin vertical streaks beside the eyes and topped with a single curl of blue hair. A pair of wings resembling those of a butterfly sit at its back, trailed by a floating ring of light. Once its Bankai, Konjiki Ashisogi Jizō, is called out, this tiny shape swells into a colossal caterpillar-like beast draped in a red cloak, crowned by the golden head and limbs of an infant and ringed by a hovering silver halo.
Under Muramasa's mental hold, the creature turns openly hostile, unleashing its poisonous Bankai on friend and foe with no prompting and taking cruel delight in combat, once grinning as it tried to run Isane Kotetsu through. Victory brings out a petty streak, and it repeatedly bats at the unconscious Ichigo Kurosaki after felling him. Freed from that influence, its temperament flips to something shy and skittish, cowering whenever an irritated Senbonzakura flares his spiritual pressure. It genuinely tries to be useful yet bungles the effort constantly, once fetching a bunch of bananas in place of a needed remote and then wrecking the device itself. Rarely vocal, the spirit gets its meaning across through expressions and gestures, tilting its head in bewilderment during exchanges.
Materializing alongside the other rebel Zanpakutō Spirits atop Sōkyoku Hill, it drifts past its master Mayuri before triggering Konjiki Ashisogi Jizō against the assembled Shinigami. It later ambushes lieutenants Isane Kotetsu and Tetsuzaemon Iba, paralyzing Isane's leg with its extending blades and flooding the battlefield with lethal gas that drops several officers, Ichigo among them. After Yachiru Kusajishi playfully torments it and Kenpachi Zaraki seizes it in annoyance, Mayuri detonates the spirit with a remote charge, shattering its physical shell so he can study how Muramasa commands the blades.
Mayuri later revives it to prove the freed spirits can still take form, leaving it to guard the research institute. There it stumbles upon the imprisoned Saru, Hebi, and Senbonzakura, accidentally smashing the barrier's control and provoking a destructive clash that levels much of the facility. In the campaign's final stretch, it joins the other spirits against the last sword-beast, Kirikaze, surrendering its remaining energy to Renji so he can finish the fight before it returns for good to its sealed blade.

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
