Auswählen is a signature power of Yhwach that redistributes strength across the Quincy, seizing the life and abilities of those he deems unworthy and pouring them into his chosen. Rendered as Select or Consecration, it revives fallen allies at the cost of weaker Quincy who often die where they stand.
Auswählen extends Yhwach's power to hand out fragments of his own soul, allowing him to instead rip strength away from other Quincy. He first turned it on his own people nine years before the war so as to restore himself upon reviving. Its very nature is a redistribution of power, stripping the ones he judges useless to reinforce the ones he wants stronger.
Selecting those he deems impure, the mixed-blood included, Yhwach claims their power as his own in a process that tends to kill the frailer victims outright, with older and weaker Quincy drained first; the light can even burn the flesh from them and leave only bone. What he takes passes to those he wishes to reinforce, who are reborn mightier than before, as when a revived Lille Barro awoke into the true might of The X-Axis. He unleashes it as immense pillars of light, and any Quincy marked as fuel loses their gifts even by evading the beams, at the least forfeiting their Quincy: Vollständig. Those with greater spiritual power, among them the Sternritter and Masaki Kurosaki, can survive being siphoned, but a clot of Still Silver forms in the heart, and it is this that finishes them if the light does not; should that silver ever touch Yhwach's own blood, he briefly loses all of his powers. Because the technique moves pure energy rather than gathered Reishi, not so much as Kirio Hikifune's Cage of Life, a barrier that shuts out spiritual matter, can keep it contained.
Auswählen is unique to Yhwach, the Quincy King, who wields it both to purge his own ranks and to resurrect his elite. Recorded victims span Masaki Kurosaki, Kanae Katagiri, Bazz-B, and the Bambies, and in the war's final push Jugram Haschwalth and Gerard Valkyrie. Uryū Ishida stands out as the sole mixed-blood Quincy to weather the first Auswählen with his powers fully intact.

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
Auswahlen is a signature power of Yhwach that redistributes strength across the Quincy, seizing the life and abilities of those he judges unworthy and pouring them into his chosen followers. The term is rendered as Select or Consecration.
Yhwach used Auswahlen to purge weaker Quincy from his ranks while reinforcing his chosen elite, and he first turned it on his own people nine years before the war to restore himself upon reviving.
Auswahlen strips power from Quincy that Yhwach deems impure, often killing the frailer victims and leaving only bone, then transfers that stolen power into those he wishes to strengthen, reviving them mightier than before.
Quincy with greater spiritual power, including some Sternritter and Masaki Kurosaki, can survive being drained by Auswahlen, though a clot called Still Silver forms in the heart and can still kill them afterward.
Recorded victims of Auswahlen include Masaki Kurosaki, Kanae Katagiri, Bazz-B, the Bambies, and in the war's final push Jugram Haschwalth and Gerard Valkyrie, while Uryu Ishida is the sole mixed-blood Quincy to survive the first Auswahlen with his powers fully intact.
