Appearance
When Kensei charges Tachikaze, the short blade begins to shine as his spiritual pressure gathers along its edge. That light condenses into a bright, floating sphere hovering at the weapon's tip, which he then launches as a compact bolt of force. The visual is brief and violent, a burst of radiant energy released the instant the orb finishes forming.
Abilities
The strike delivers tremendous concussive weight for its size. In one exchange it tore the arm clean off Ichigo Kurosaki while he was locked in his fully Hollowfied state, a measure of how much destruction Kensei can pack into a single release. At point-blank range it doubles as a brutal finishing move rather than a ranged option.
History
Kensei has also turned the technique on larger prey. During the fighting in Hueco Mundo he drove Tachikaze through the mask of a Gillian-class Menos and discharged Bakudantsuki from inside it, blowing the giant Hollow's head apart entirely. Moments like these mark it as one of his most dependable ways to end a fight quickly.
