Appearance
He stands at about average height, his hair cut short and black, his eyes a dark brown. Inside the Nest of Maggots he wears the prison's standard garb: a white robe cinched by a black sash, with no shoes.
Personality
True to the name others pinned on him, Big Mouth was a braggart, forever declaring during his academy days that he would eventually rule the Seireitei. That constant bluster is what stuck the label to him in the first place.

History
After graduating, Big Mouth reportedly left the Gotei 13, though in reality the authorities judged him too dangerous to leave free and shut him inside the Nest of Maggots. When Hiyori visits the facility alongside Kisuke Urahara, he recognizes his old classmate and begs her to help get him released. A prisoner uprising, quickly put down by Urahara, interrupts the pleading, after which Big Mouth tries to grab Hiyori as a hostage to bargain for his freedom. She swats the attempt aside with ease, freeing herself and leaving him badly bruised.
