History
Kaien discovered Bonnie as an injured piglet in a mountainous stretch of Rukongai and nursed her back to health, giving her the ribbon she still wears. In the Soul Society arc she barrels Ganju through a doorway, startling the Ryoka who mistake him for a wild pig, and later lets him ride her in a hasty getaway. An anime-only Bount arc gag briefly convinces Ganju she has been cooked into a stew, though she turns out unharmed. Much later, during the Thousand-Year Blood War, she carries Ganju to the Twelfth Division compound as Ichigo's group prepares to launch for the Soul King Palace.
