Appearance

Standing well over three meters, Demoura reads as a crossbreed of a swollen, misshapen human and a Hollow, having apparently never bothered to seal his strength into a Zanpakuto the way most Arrancar do. Dark-skinned, he wears the upper fragment of his Hollow mask across the top of his face, with a pair of thin marks set between his red eyes and a huge distorted jaw below. His arms hang so long that they graze the ground, forcing an ape-like stoop as he moves. Black locks fall in dreads weighted with ornaments and dangling earrings, a cross piece hanging from the left, while twin lines run down each cheek beneath the mask. His hakama is the plain sort common to his kind.

Personality

Wit is not his strength. His mind runs to little beyond the raw aggression typical of a Hollow, and he bristles whenever his partner needles him for being slow.

History

Demoura stands as the very first obstacle Ichigo Kurosaki, Uryu Ishida, and Yasutora Sado meet after crossing into Hueco Mundo. He chases the intruders out of the gorge and into a stairwell chamber where his partner Aisslinger Wernarr springs a coordinated ambush. Gathering spiritual energy around his fists, he hammers at Uryu and chokes off the Quincy's ability to summon his bow, but the two humans outfox the pair by trading foes. Sado lands a colossal punch that shatters Demoura's mask and drives him into the wall, then mocks the exposed face. Refusing to yield, the Arrancar fires his own elongated tongue as a battering projectile, a move called Lengua Tronco, only for Sado to halt it and finish him with El Directo. As the chamber gives way and caves in, Demoura is buried and dies together with Aisslinger.
