Appearance
In public a Disguiser looks like nothing more than the person or creature whose remains it wears, betraying no sign of the Dragon underneath. Its real body is another matter. Shelby, one of the few known examples, uncoils into a dark, snakelike shape studded with small white-clawed arms, ragged wings, and tentacles where legs should be, all trailing back to a long neck capped by a screw-shaped head and a pair of oversized eyes.
Personality
By their nature Disguisers are impostors, content to pass unnoticed among the living by borrowing a familiar face. Most keep to that predatory habit, but Shelby stands out as a rare exception, having spent a full decade living quietly alongside Humans without turning on them.
