Futen Taisatsuryō is one of the fearsome applications of Ichimonji, the Zanpakutō carried by Ichibe'e Hyōsube. Its name renders as Slaughterous Mausoleum of Halted Reincarnation, and it promises an ending so complete that the victim can never again be reborn.
Ichibe'e gathers a flood of pure blackness from everything around him with a stroke of Ichimonji, pours it into a cup formed of that same darkness, and drinks. As he chants, he traces ringed circles of shadow across the ground, then drives his blade into the floor. From that gesture rises a great mausoleum, fenced in front and standing atop a spread of shattered gravestones, all conjured out of the black.
The rite strips every trace of black from its target, devouring flesh, blood, and bone until nothing at all is left. The annihilation runs so deep that the victim's soul is denied even a rebirth in the living world. Ichibe'e boasts that the gravestones themselves are wrought by plundering a hundred nights from a Soul Society a century into the future, and the technique also pins the target in place so that they cannot break the chant.
Ichibe'e turned the technique on Yhwach in a bid to wipe him out. The anime stages its long incantation as a sung piece. In the fighting game BLEACH Rebirth of Souls he can cast it with either his Shikai or his Shin'uchi, and a successful casting simply hands the player an instant win, a quirk Tite Kubo backed by confirming that Shirafude Ichimonji shares the same powers as Ichimonji.
The song of magnificent death refers to Futen Taisatsuryō, called Magnificent Death Mausoleum in the Viz translation, a technique of Ichibe'e Hyōsube's Zanpakuto Ichimonji whose long incantation is staged as a sung piece in the anime.
