Genga

A hooded white cloak drapes over Genga and doubles as a cape, keeping his head from view. His lower body is plated in yellow armor, and a matching yellow patch shields his right eye, across which a scar cuts.

In his bout with Chad, Genga held his composure even as the human's strength climbed past his own, showing no alarm at being outmatched. That poise came at a cost, however, since his heavy dependence on the Bakkōtō nearly saw the weapon devour him.

Genga answers to Gyōkaku Kumoi and belongs to the band of hired killers sent under Hanza Nukui to capture Rurichiyo Kasumiōji, a plotline confined to the anime and outside the manga canon. Dispatched to the Human World, he squares off against Yasutora Sado. When Chad urges him to walk away, Genga only laughs, and the fight begins. His Bakkōtō, a hulking guandao called Kakuyoku that hangs from his hand on a bendable joint, throws up stone barriers wherever it strikes, and though Chad struggles early, he steadies himself and stops the next blow with his Brazo Derecha de Gigante. The exchange only spurs Genga to greater power, and the two settle into an even contest.

To break the stalemate, Genga walls Chad in, then merges with the barriers so he can circle around unseen and strike from behind. Chad grasps the danger too late, but rather than flee he simply tears the walls down. Once the two clash openly again, Chad's resilience pushes Genga to gamble everything on one final assault. Chad answers by unleashing the Brazo Izquierda del Diablo, and their powers collide head-on. He finishes Genga off with La Muerte, leaving Orihime Inoue to arrive and find him unconscious beside an enormous skull-shaped crater.
