Kagine

Kagine cuts an imposing figure, a tall and heavily built man whose black hair is cropped short and whose upper lip carries a mustache.

Rigid and swift to anger, he proves just as swift to tears, a soft spot Rukia exploits by feigning sobs to blunt his fury. He guards the reputation of Karakura High fiercely, bristling at anything that might disgrace it and going so far as to demand that the students behind such embarrassment be disciplined.

In the wake of the uproar surrounding Don Kanonji, Kagine hauls Ichigo and his classmates into the principal's office and berates them for shaming the school, incensed that Ichigo ran wild during the filming of Kanonji's program and that Rukia, Orihime, Tatsuki Arisawa, Keigo Asano, Mizuiro Kojima, and Yasutora Sado all stood by. Tatsuki cuts in that she and Orihime were never present and walks out with her. Rukia then shoulders the blame and dissolves into tears, and while the flustered Kagine tries to comfort her, the others slip away through the window and she soon follows. Rounding on Ichigo's homeroom teacher Misato Ochi for failing to stop them, he gets only bafflement, since the principal cares more about getting the broadcast footage to show his grandchildren. Kagine finally snaps and smashes a door, which the principal orders docked from his salary. An anime-only turn during the Bount episodes shows him losing his class again as several students bolt from gym on flimsy excuses.
